THEATRE & LIVE EVENT producing

I have written, directed, hosted, and produced a wide range of live performance events in NYC and beyond, including theatrical productions and workshops, film shoots, benefit concerts, music festivals, and several reoccurring drag and burlesque shows.

DRAG AND BURLESQUE PRODUCTIONS

theater camp

Theater Camp is a musical theater inspired drag and burlesque show that gives all the ex-drama kids in the NYC nightlife scene a chance to showcase their most earnest, raunchy, theatrical acts at Culture Lab in Long Island City.

SAD GIRL HAPPY HOUR

Sad Girl Happy Hour is a collaboration with Dyke Drag that invites NYC’s drag queens, kings, and things to explore their favorite niche musical sub-genres through a genderqueer lens. It is hosted by Ginger’s, Brooklyn’s oldest lesbian bar.

BENEFIT CONCERTS

I have written scripts for and helped to produce benefit galas and concerts like Music for Changing Times, a live multi-media retrospective of protest music in America for the nonprofit Music to Life, which was headlined by Noel Paul Stookey and Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul, and Mary, and presented by the Rubicon Theatre Company.

WHERE TO BEGIN

I have written and produced one-act and full-length plays that have been performed around NYC and the world, including Where to Begin (pictured above), a play about adolescent mental health that was commissioned by the nonprofit theater company The Fellowship of the Ravens and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
