lady parts — founder — 2014-Present

I am the founder of LADY PARTS, a popular blog and Internet community that calls out sexism in entertainment and celebrates female artists. Lady Parts began as a Tumblr blog, where I would excerpt the most hilariously heinous online casting calls I came across every day as a female actor (ex. "Seeking: Female to lay face down in a pool of fake blood for two days. Unpaid.") Since 2014, I have released an original comedic digital series based on the blog and collaborated with other companies to create female-driven Web & video content. Below are just a few of of the stories written about Lady Parts:

bust blog — blog writer & editor— 2012-2013

I was a blog writer and editor for BUST Magazine, a well-known feminist publication. At BUST, I contributed news and pop culture stories, film reviews, short fiction, and interviews to both the online and print edition of the magazine. I was also responsible for copyediting other bloggers' work, writing copy for email campaigns and newsletters, and managing the release of BUST content across various social media platforms. Below are a few of my favorite interviews and reviews from my time at BUST

I am a freelance content and copywriter for the live TV and event production company, ONE FOOT PRODUCTIONS. I was initially hired to build out OFP's website with new copy and blog content that both reflected and refined their brand voice. I was subsequently brought on board as a content manager and copywriter for BEAR MUSIC FEST, an annual music festival presented by OFP. Below are a few blog posts and articles I've written for One Foot Productions and Bear Music Fest:
